The Boggero winery was born at the end of the 19th century in the municipality of Vaglio Serra, a small town in the heart of Monferrato.

Over the years it continued its development and after the Second World War it evolved, both in the production of high-quality wines and in that of fruit and vegetables

In a headquarter of Boggero winery there are two cellars: for winemaking, storage, aging and sale of wine, and a laboratory for washing and preparing fruit and vegetables and finally two tasting rooms of proper wine shop.

About ten denominations of wine are produced, among which those of Barbera and Nizza - the jewels of territory.

Bianco Monferrato DOC
White dry wine, variety Cortese
TYPICAL VARIETY OF MONFERRATO WINE REGION

Vinification: Produced with absolute precision, after the various stages of vinification it is aged for a few months in steel and then packed.
Sensory notes: On the nose it is delicate, pleasant and persistent.
The taste is sapid, fresh and soft.
Serving temperature: 8°-10° C for aperitifs – 10°-12° C for meals
Pairings: It goes well with appetizers, soups, first courses, pasta, white meats, fish and cheeses.
Rosso Monferrato DOC
Red dry wine, Barbera variety
TYPICAL VARIETY OF MONFERRATO

Soil: Sandy and clayey
Sensory notes: It has a slight floral and aromatic smell. The taste is dry and structured, harmonious and of great elegance.
Vinification: After a careful and accurate harvest, a red vinification is carried out with maceration for about 25 days. The wine is then left to refine in steel tanks and bottled/packed in the summer.
Aging: In steel tanks
Serving temperature: 18° – 20° C
Pairings: It goes well with dishes based on beef, chicken and pork. Excellent with cold cuts and aged cheeses, risotto or lasagna.

Vino rosso SEL

Dry red wine, Barbera variety

Variety: Barbera
Sensory notes: It has an intense and persistent aroma, with hints of dark berries and hints of cinnamon. On the palate it is balanced, dry and full-bodied with a pleasant sweet tannic note.
Vinification: The work in the vineyards is meticulously cared for, before the harvest the grapes are thinned out and selected. After the various stages of vinification, the wine is aged for about 12 months in 30-hectolitre Slavonian oak barrels.
Pairings: It goes well with important first courses, meat dishes, game and aged cheeses.

Vino rosso NEB
Dry red wine, Nebbiolo variety

PURE FAMOUS VARIETY: NEBBIOLO!

Sensory notes: The smell shows fruity notes. The taste is characterized by pleasant tannins and an excellent structure.
Vinification: A traditional red vinification is carried out with long maceration. The wine is then left to rest for a few months in steel tanks and then bottled.
Aging: In steel tanks
Gastronomic pairings: Universal gastronomic wine, best suited to young cheeses,
fish dishes.
Sensory notes: The smell shows fruity notes. The taste is characterized by pleasant tannins and an excellent structure.
