ABRUZZO REGION
CANTINA SAN GIACOMO
The company was founded in 1971 and was named after the local patron saint of winemakers - St. James.
Today, almost 150 winemakers - members of the cooperative, as throughout the history of the company, work daily to strict standards in order to guarantee high quality products.

The wines of the Cantina San Giacomo winery are mainly produced from varieties traditional for Abruzzo - red Montepulciano d'Abruzzo, white Pecorino, Trebbiano d'Abruzzo, Cococciola, Chardonnay, Muscat and Passerina. The winery produces wines of different lines - from basic to premium, Cantina San Giacomo products are traditionally popular with Italian restaurateurs.
Some wines produced by the winery have a long storage potential - the best vintages are stored in underground vaults, waiting for their finest hour.

Sustainable development
Cantina San Giacomo has been producing BIO-certified wines for a long time - using "soft" methods of influencing the soil and vines. The company managed to achieve a balance of their wines and consistently high quality products - from harvest to harvest.

Craft quality
The applied production technologies are selected taking into account local traditions of winemaking,
in the production of Cantina San Giacomo tries not to overdo it with the use of oak barrels, not to apply extreme winemaking methods and not to experiment with varieties new to the territory.
